Apparently, it’s happened again. Guess I’ve been preoccupied with other things so much so that I almost forgot I had this little blogity-blog. Guess I should post an update.

Birthdays are eminent in the house of Daniel. Therefore I’m planning a short excursion back home to hang with fam for a bit. I miss home, but I suppose that concept is always wherever the heart is. For me that happens to be wherever my crazy, delicious, beautiful family happens to be. Thank goodness I didn’t take that job in Alaska or Vermont. As it stands right now, it’s almost a full day’s work just to make the drive home to see their craziness.

Other than that, I’ve just been busy earning, learning, and burning up calories like crazy at the gym. I’m not sure what’s got into me lately, but I’ve recently been incredibly motivated to hit my regular workouts even harder than usual. The effort is definitely reaping some nice dividends already. So wherever that sweet space inside my heart that’s drawing on the wellspring of energy to get me up so early and keep me up so late happens to be coming from, I’m definitely not complaining.
