Is Legacy Greater Than Currency?
Would you rather have a million friends, real friends not Facebook friends, or a million dollars? It’s an important question to think about. What if you could get everything you ever wanted with the help of your friendship resources, your network resources and not have to worry about money to gain societal leverage? Would that make a difference in your life? Would you rather feel a genuine connection with others or would you rather have money to feel in control of that connection to others? What would you use the money for once you garnered it?
Correct me if I’m wrong, but wouldn’t you want to then communicate something, do something, speak something, push some feeling or some sentiment outward to the world around you, whatever it may be (heal the sick, end poverty, make people kneel to you, listen to you, buy from you, comfort you, whatever)? If you absolutely needed money to communicate that, then wouldn’t it be the money really talking and less so you actually convincing, persuading, or connecting something genuine with the world?
So, in so many words, is your social equity more important than your financial equity?
Just something to think about.
