“Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.”
-Mahatma Gandhi

As I stand here reading, yes I tend to read standing up when I’m restless, the thought occurred to me how much congruency plays a significant role in our overall feelings of satisfaction and contentment in life. Maybe it isn’t necessary to feel “happy” all the time, but it’s still an ideal worth striving for. It’s a state of mindfulness that can help bring our perspective into balance. So much of the boring monotony involved in our daily routines feels draining and unnecessary. Yet sometimes, it’s possible to create harmony out of the motions. When that happens, we’ve discovered happiness. We’ve discovered a part of ourselves that reveals a glimpse into what our hopes, dreams, and undeterred ambitions can produce once we’ve focused and aligned our present actions with our future goals.
