Okay, so I had a little bit of rant there during my post. No biggie. I’m a better man for it. I had the flu and I was running a fever over 101 degrees. Sue me. …Jeez, obviously I felt like suing Allstate at the time.

Anyhooo, I’m feeling infinitely better now that I’m back to normal. My car is still a busted hunk of junk, but oddly enough I’ve managed pretty well. Friends are indeed a good thing to have. Remind me not to give a second thought if a fellow homeslice needs a lift. Also, ladies and gents be sure to tip your cabbie if they show up on time. Over the past two weeks, I’ve had some good ones and some bad ones. The reliable ones that just deliver are definitely like gold. Reward’em, because when you think about it, there’s a huge difference between having to ride a cab and having to drive a cab. They literally have to let a total stranger sit behind them all day. No wonder it’s such a high stress job.
